South Africa is a great place to photograph wildlife. During the 2009 summer holydays we visted the north easter part of South Africa and sped 6 days in the Kruger national park.

 Birds of South Africa
Our adventures in Iceland during our 2007 summer vacation. We decided
to take the ferry from Denmark and bring our own car. We rounded Iceland
counter clockwise with detours to the interior (Askja, the F35 and Landamanalaugar)
The slides are a selection of the many pictures I took and give an impresion of the trip.
We hope you will enjoy them as much as we do and maybe they will persuade you
to visit Iceland yourself (tip bring a hat and gloves...)

The Raptors of Lordat:
These pictures were taken during our visit to the cathare castel of
Lordat summer 2004. In the old castel mr. Christophe Lafuste holds
some 30 raptors with which he gives a beautifull show for the visitors.
The pictures give an overview of the birds. Because the birds are not
kept in cages it is possible to photograph the animals at very close
distance. All images are taken with my NIKON- D70 with 80-200 mm
